TAIHAPE STOCK SALE. Dalgety and Co., Palmerston North, report having a good entry of sheep and cattle at their Taihape sale on Wednesday, July sth, which sold readily as follows:—Mixed hoggets, small tv 17s; mixed hoggets 20s lOd, 225, to 2zs 9d; young ewes in lamb to Romney rams 345; wethers 31s 2d. Backward dairy heifers sold at from £5 ,4s to £5 10s; light fat cows and heifers £9 to £10; fat cows to £i3; cow just calved £l4; bad coloured 18 to 20 months steers £4 2s (id to £5 10s; bad coloured 2 year steers £7 Os. Two wethers donated by Mr. E. Batt —proceeds of which are to go to the Naval Relief Fund realised £42 10s, and were purchased by Messrs. E. Spooner, Gus. Rowell, and E. Batt.
