The official report states that the conference in committee disci used -he Military Service Bill, the d -cn'ssiou occupying the whole day. The following reso_ lotion was carried “That we urge all unions to takea plebiscite vote of their members upon the following questions; (1) Are you you in favour of conscription of men us imposed by the Military ServiceAct? (2) Are you in favour of a general strike as ,a means of preventing the enforcement of the Military Service Act?”
