i ADVANTAGE REMAINS WITH I BRITISH. [ Received 9 pan., July 4. f , LONDON. July 4. Sir Douglas Haig reports: The fight fluctuated ail afternoon about La Boisr-le and south of ThiepvaL the advantage, on the whole remaining with us. , South of Thiepvai counter-attacks drove some of our troops from portion of a position captured in the morning. Elsewhere many enemy attacks were repulsed with heavy loss. We continued to make substantial pi ogress at some places. The number of prisoners is over 43 00. There was a marked increase of hostile aeroplanes on Sunday in one of the southern sectors. Since the beginning of the battle we have lost 15 machines along the whole front.
