A SOLICITOR ARRESTED.
PALMERSTON N.. June 30
William Toswiil, a Pahiatua solicitor who has been residing m Palmerston for a fortnight, wasjarrested yesterday on two charges of alleged theft of trust moneys. He appeared at the Police Court this morning, when Detective Quirke said the charges against accused were that about July 10, 1910. he did steal £IBO, the property of Selina Boxall, and that'on July 10, 1913- he did steal £IBO, the property of Selina Boxall. Detective Quirke said a number of other serious charges would also be preferred against the accused. The police applied for a remand to Pathiatua for one week, and this was granted, bail being fixed at £2OO.
