THE PARIS CONFERENCE.
BITTER COMMENTS BY GERMAr! PRESS. Received 5-55 p.m., June 27. LONDON, June 2e„ The German Press continues to bitterly comment on the Paris Conference.
The “Frankfurther Zeitung” says official circles in England took little interest in the conference. Mr. Runciman stayed at home and instead sent Lord Crewe, who is a distinguished nonentity, an authority on neckties and waistcoats, but not on economic matters. England also sent the Conservative Protectionist Mr. Bonar Law and Air. Hughes, who is the Jingoes’ chief darling, and who cannot be absent from any official German-eating ceremony.
