Messrs Abraham & Williams, Ltd., hav e been instructed by Mr. Frank Ful* lerton Smith, who is giving up dairying, to sell the whole of the* magnificent dairy herd on his estate, “Holfby,’ 3 about six miles from Marton. This herd is noted as being composed of the very best pedigree milking strains, and they are most undoubtedly a very desirable lot of animals, in which the Holstain largely figures. The auctioneers specially state that this herd is a particularly good one, comprising well-bred young cows, carefully tested and selected, chiefly in Taranaki and Palmerston North districts. A luncheon will bo provided. .
