ASTROLOGY AND THE WAR.
Mr. Alfred Dolsworth, of Birkenhead, sends a letter to the Liverpool Weekly Post, dealing with the question of prophecies. Mr. Dodsworth, as an astrological student, claims that "we did point to th e mighty cataclysm 'niong nations, but our admonitions were disregarded. . . In 1595, A.D., the astrologer Sepharial, writing of the horoscope of the Kaiser., declared that the fate in store for him was that of Abdul Hamid, Sultan of Turkey. He would bring his empire to bankruptcy, be th e last of his dynasty, and his country would fall a prey to France and Eussia. As regards the Crown Prince, he could be likened to our Bonnie Prince Charlie. "Another astrologer, Alan Leo, when George ascended to the British Throne, published in July, 1910, a review of the horoscopes of European reigning monarchs. Comparing" the nativities of King George and the Kaiser, lie declared that should England and Germany ever be engaged in conflict, the horoscope of King George ensures success, and should the German Empire be forced to enter into warfare, France would be attacked and n/>t England.
"Regarding the horoscope of the Emperor Francis Joseph, upon whose nativity the fate of European nations hangs by a thread, it became no idle prophecy to say that if a European war breaks out the Emperor of Austria will be the direct cause of drawing England into the struggle Remember that this was written in 1910.
"In January, 1914, Alan Leo occupied nine pages i ;1 his magazine, discussing cur political horizon and the very serious possibility of a European war in 1914. •
"We, as students, knew that when Mar§ reached the apposition to Uranus, on the 19th inst., that a violent German onslaught would ensue.
"Perhaps your readens would be interested to learn that, according to the canon of astrology, the next war will take place in 1927-30, on what Lord Kitchener has styled the greatest battle plain of the world.''
