STOCK SALE REPORT.
Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report on Marten Sale held yesterday. JWe had a good yarding of sheep and a small cn e of cattle, and although bidding was not spirited we have to report a clearance, with the exception of one or two pens, at satisfactory prices. We quote: Good lambs 16/3; very fair do. 13/6, 14/; small do. 12/, 12/6; cull do. 8/8, 10/3. Empty ewes 19/, 20/6; others 14/9 to 17/. Small 2-tooth ewes empty 18/, 19/10. M/aged ewes in lamb 18/, 19/4; poor do. 15/. 2-tooth wethers small, 21/, 21/6; good do. 25/8, 26/9. Fat ewes 22/(5, 23/1. Fat. wethers, 27/. Mixed weaners 24/ to 30/. Dairy cows £8 10/ to £l2 7/6. Fat cows £9 15/-. Fat heifers £8 7/6.
