THREE STARS PICTURE THEATRE.
A photoplajr of vivid scenes, a Vitagraph Broadway star, entitled “The Man from the Desert,” will be on§ of the star pictures to-night. It is a story of thg curse of money; in fact, seldom, if ever, has there been a drama •written and produced that has the gripping force of this one. The scene where one partner decamps with the gold,, leaving his pal to perish with thirst, together with his subsequent struggles, is alone worth seeing. Another star is “The Doll House Mystery.” The story is, briefly: The little daughter of a broker takes the bonds and papers her doll’s house with them, and it shows how an innocent man was accused of the theft. There is also the Australian Gazette, and two comedies.
