DUNEDIN, March 7. Knox College building is now free of debt. At to-day’s meeting of the Presbytery it was announced that since the meeting of the General Assembly two cheques had been received from Mr. John Rcss totalling £1727. This brought Mr. Ross’s contiibution to £20,000, and liquidated the whole of the debt on the college, and left £4OO over to improve the entrance to the college.
