AERIAL DEFENCE.
NEED FOR CO-ORDINATION. LONDON, February 14; Lord Sydenham, in the course of an interview, said that the co-ordination of the air services under one responsible' head had long been imperatively necessary. The director ought to have some measure of technical knowledge. He considered construction, design, and experiment the most important factors. It was necessary to provide complete telegraphic and telephonic communication, in order to advise threatened towns and also to make provision for issuing orders to all our aircraft which were ready to attack raiders.
