THE TORPEDOED CRUISER, SANK IN FEW MINUTES. PARIS, February 14. The loss of the old French cruiser Amiral Charner is officially confirmed. A raft vias been found off the- coast of Syria bearing the bodies of 15 of the crew. One man who was alive states that the ship was torpedoed at seven in the morning of the Sth inst.. and sank in a few minutes. The crew were unable to launch the boats.
