There is a display of newly arrived goods for children’s wear that should gladden the eye and heart of any mother. To say that the garments arc chic is not sufficiently superlative to dscribc their daintiness and beauty. Pretty little frocks and delicately beautiful millinery are a strong feature of the display. There are smart yet simple little dressss in various washing fabrics and in truly becoming styles; in muslins and embroidery in choice designs for better wear, and they are all marked' at remarkably low prices. There is also on exhibition a fine and comprehensive range of white pique, chip, and crinoline hats in the very newest styles and to suit children of all sizes and ages, and from the display it is very evident that Gardner and Co. make a special feature of all branches cf children’s requirements. Just at present the firm is offering some genuine bargains in dainty garments particularity- suitable for holiday and school wear. A visit of inspection should amply repay any mother requiring anything in a child’s outfit.
