I RIVER ACCIDENT IN ITALY.. A BRIDGE CARRIED AWAY. J BY A CYCLONE. HUNDRED PEOPLE DROWNED. (Reed 11.25 a.m.) ROME, November 23. The river Salso rose suddenly. Afterwards a cyclone carried away the bridge at Licata, whereon many wejre watching the torrent. One hundred were drowned, and many large buildings were undermined! and collapsed. PARIS, Nov. 23. A great fire is raging in an annexe of the Bon Marche store. Ninety wounded men who were in a temporaryhospital on the fifth floor were carried cut safely. The fire started in the basement owing to a short circuit. SERIOUS DAMAGE. PARIS, November 23. The fire was extinguished. The damage is serious.
