DROWNING FATALITY.
AUCKLAND, This Day. Alice Franklin, wife of John Franklin, cf Whakatane, and a two-year-old I child, were drowned at the Heads. I The woman’s body was found at the base of a cliff. It is supposed the child got into the water and the motherperished in attempting to rescue it.
