MOTHER GOOSE AND CINDERELLA PANTOMIMES.

The Stanley McKay Pantomime Co., ( who had booked the Town Hall some two months ago for Friday and Saturday last but gave up their dates and helped the local Queen Carnival, will appear here on Tuesday and Wednesday week, November 30th and December Ist. The opening production is to be "Mother Goose," or the goose that laid the golden egg. This most popular of all pantomimes, as presented by Mr George Stephenson, has proved highly successful wherever played. In Auckland quite recently the company put up a record for pantomime, playing there to packed business for three weeks. Since leaving the big city of the North the combination has been considerably strengthened by the addition of an excellent speciality turn by the Fredo Brothers. These fina artists were brought direct from Sydney for the country tour of the "Mother Goose" and "Cinderella" Pantomimes. Heading the caste is Mr James Gerald, the greatest acrobatic female impersonator that has ever apnex.'-ii 'n Australasia. He is ably supported in ;his funny business by Mr "Will Rayner, who will be remembered here for his fine singing during the recent Carnival. Miss Essie Jennings is the principal boy. and she is the fortunate possessor of a fine soprano voice and excellent figure, besides being a capable actress and dancer. Little Red. Riding Hood, the principal girl, is impersonated by Miss Rosie Coleman, while other important parts are in the hands of Miss Carmen Coleman, Miss Annie Lillilund, Miss Rubee Raymond, a,<d Mr Richard Dunbar. Besides, the Brothers specialties are contribute! by Frank and Free, comedy tumbler-; Mi=°- Rubee Raymond, toe and serpentine dancer; and Mr Will Speed, the tramp cyclist. The scenery is all by the very best Sydney artiste, and includes some 15 beautiful scenes. The ?ongs and dances are all the very while a full ballet, chorus and orchestra assist the principals. On Wednesday night, "Cinderella," or the girl who put her feot in it, is the attraction. The box plan will open at Finch's on Monday, and seats may be reserved wtihout extra charge.
