OCTOBER STATISTICS. Mr. A. R. Fannin has kindly furnished, for publication, the meteorological statistics for the month of October as foll'ows:— The rainfall of the month of October was. 3.84 in; there were 39 days with rain and the maximum fall was 0.94h>. on the l&th. The average fall for the corresponding month of the previous* nine years is 3.88 in. In October of last, year the fall was l.llins. The mean temperature in the shade was 59.5 deg. F., and the mean minimum temperature in the shade was 44. d2g. F on the 13th, and the extreme minimum i" the shade was 32 dee.
