ROUMANIAN UNREST. THE KING WARNED. DANGERS OF HESITATION. THE PUBLIC ALARMED. INTERVENTION URGED. LONDON, October 17. The Chronicle’s Rome correspondent states that the campaign in Bucharest in favour of armed intervention on the side of the Quadruple Alliance is assuming rave and almost anti-dynastic proportions. Independent newspapers warn the King of the danger of a revolution if he hesitated much longer. The Roumanian public view with alarm Bulgaria’s co-operation in the attack on Servia.
KIRZIZ TRIBESMEN.
TO APPEAR IN' THE FIELD. PETROGRAD, Oct. 17. Large forces of Kirziz tribesmen, if not cue whole army, are likely to appear in the field after necessary training.’ The Kirziz population numbers twelve millions and the authorities arc anxious to utilise such hardy material.
GERMAN OFFENSIVE STOPPED.
A RUSSIAN REPORT. PETROGRAD, October 17. PoMvanolf announces that 'the results of the intense labour of the nation are being felt on every front. ANGLO-FRENCH LOAN.
CONTRACT SIGNED IN AMERICA. SYMPATHY WITH THE ALLIES. LONDON, October 17. .French Official: The Anglo-French loan in America is definitely concluded. The contract was signed at New York on Saturday by 61 heads of banks on behalf of 800 houses forming a syndicate. A large crowd showed sympathy with the Anglo-French mission when its members left Morgan Bank. ~
