LONDON, October 15 The "Daily Telegraph's" correspondent reports that there are indications of- events- happening on the issue of which hangs the future of the Germans in Belgium, and perhaps in north era France. He learns from reliable sources that at Ghent, Courtrai, Bruges and Charleroi trains are standing ready in case of retreat by the Germans. Extra bridges have been thrown across the Scheldt. The headquarters of the army on the extreme right have been moujd back. The Duke of Wurtemburg has established himself at Ghent. Troops just arrived are all flung into the zone northward of Arras. THREE STEAMERS SUNK ON MONDAY COPENHAGEN, o:>t 1" The success of the British submarines in the Baltic overshadows even t%?. Balkans. A German captain saw three steamers sunk on Monday. After an explosion he found wreckage and llfetcats bottom upwards. Steering east, he saw another disappear four yards away. Later in the evening he heard a terrific explosion, and a third vessel's lights were extinguished. The tables have been turned on tjhe Germans in waters where they have hitherto been unchallenged. Neutral ship* are not molested, but effective German isolation is resulting. The onlylosses reported are where the crews land in Sweden. Nothing is said of i%e cases cf crews landing in Germany. (Reed 9.5 a.m.) ROTTERDAM, Orto&ar 15 Several Zeppelins were observed yesterday flying south-easterly, one was maimed; and flying low, with jerky movements, and at eccentric angles.
