NISH, October 9

A communique states: The enemy crossed the Save at Yarak and at other points and crossed the Danube at Belgrade fortress and at Earn. The enemy's advance guard in Belgraffc was partly destroyed and partly captured. The enemy made fierce attacKs on the Save crossings. We pinned him to the brink of the river at several points, inflicting enormous losses. The struggle contnues at other crossings.
