GERMAN BRAGGART REPENTS.
A German who has relatives in Jutland was in Copenhagen at the outbreak of the war. To relatives ">n whom he caled (says the London Telegraph's Copenhagen correspondent) he boasted that Germany could smash the whole world, and he was fery prouC of the fact that his three sons would fight for the Kaiser and tha Fitherly.nd. He visited Copenhagen again a c«;up;e of days ago, and again called en his Danish relatives, but he is now a changed man. He refused at first to speak -vf the war, butfi nally he said that it has proved the greatest bane. Nearly nil German families were in mourning. Be himself had lost two sons, and tht. third one was wounded, and although he had not recovered lie had been called out again and sent to the front. He added: "We Germans have bc*o> too greedy of poweT; We have disdained the opinion and feelings of other nations, and ther is no doubt our Lord will punish us."
