The Annies of Europe War Fi.Vns, which are the basis or the entertainment now being given throughout New Zealand, and to be shown at the Three Stars Theatre, en Wi.inesday, Sep',. 29th, by a special company, the photographer of whiCi Id lecturing with the pictures, are all genuine war scenes taken during the present great struggle of the warring nations. They deal with the war in every phase, from the rnakin g of soldiers to seeing them in action and. actually being shot before your eyes; then with the nurses and lectors attending the wounded an - ? their ghastly wounds after a threedays' terrible battle —the only battle picture on record or likely to be shown until the war is over. Everybody cannot go to the war, but they-can see what it is realty like by attending the screening of these magnificent pictures, and will enjoy a most pleasant and interesting evening's entertainment, as many thousands have already done throughout the various places, such as Auckland, where the picture enter-tain-•nent, augmented by splendid music, md military songs by leading singers, }vi2\r overflowing houses 42 times in one week.
