TURKISH CLERGY REVOLT.
ENVER EXCOMMUNICATED. LONDON, Sept. 21
The Daily Telegraph's Some correspondent learns that the Turkisb clergy have revolted against the Young Turks and Germans, and excommunicated Enver Pasha and his companions. The clergy's action has made a great impression on the people and the army. It is believed that the majority of the Committee of Union and Progress oppose the continuation of the war. THE KIDMAN CASE. SYDNEY, Sept. 21. In the Kidman case, the drown counsel has not finished his address dealing with the alleged excessive prices chained by Kidman. BIG PROFITS MADE. SYDNEY, Sept. 21. In the Kidman case, the Crown counsel said figures would be produced Showing that for certain contracts £6375 was paid by Kidman for goods wherefor (he received' £11,204, the gVoss profits being £4829. Whereas, if the increases on the contract prices recommended by Mr Page on. the ground that Kidman was losing money owing to the rise in prices of commodities had not been granted, his profits would hav e been £3173.
