LEVIN, This Day.
H, E. Lodge, late Horowhjenue County Council cldfrk, was - arrested at Rangiotu T raining Camp on Saturday ; charged with intent to defraud in that he did omit to enter particulars of the receipt of £32 18/2. He was brought to Levin and remanded to appear before Mr Poynter, S.M., on Thursday, September 23. Bail was allowed in his own recognisance of £IOO and two sureties of £SO each. Five other changes arc pending.
