A LOST EXPLORER. FOUND SAFE IN ARCTIC TERRITORY. ' (Rec. 8.45 a.m.) OTTAWA, Sept. 17. Vilhjalmur Steefansson, the explorer, has been found safe in the Arctic ter-, ritory. He has been missing since 1914. When his vessel, the Karluk, was wrecked, it was believed that Steefansson was lost.
He sailed from Victoria, British Columbia, in June, 1913.
