Forewarned, the authorities nipped the scheme in the bud, and arrested certain men alleged to have imporsecr ammunition, marked camera ‘plates and implements. Search disclosed arms of various descriptions. Another story is that a schooner was seized with arms and ammunition on board and a quantity of important documents was also seized.
