The New Zealand Shipping Company's liner Rotorua arrived at Wellington on Saturday afternon, after a safe passage from Plymouth. Although the voyage was on the whole uneventful, it was one on which certain precautions were deemed advisable, and one feature was that the usual call at Teneriffe was omitted. After the Home port was left there was a feeling of anxiety among some cf the passengers until the Channel had ben left behind, as enemy submarines had recently been active in the latitude of Dover. The only war vessel sighted was an English torpedo beat.
