Few Zealand has despatched on active service tliis v(>;:r 19. SSS men. and there -ire about 7.000 men in camp undergoing; training. The number despatched includes the Samoan force of 1419 men, and as some of these men have gone forward to join the Xcw Zealand section of the Mediterranean Expeditionary Force, those men who have re-enlisted have been counted twice in the total.
