KAISER’S NARROW ESCAPE.
According to the Genova corrcsponent of the London Daily News, a dispatch from Euda Pesth, received by indirect route, states that the Kaiser and his stall' had a narrow escape recently. They had reached a village on the river San, in Galicia, and were watching the attacking operations, when a heavy shell burst 500 yards away. The shell fell on a park of motor-cars, a number of which, including the Kaiser's car, wore destroyed. Among the men killed was the Kaiser's chaffeur, and the Kaiser.himself had only left the car fifteen minutes before the shell droppd. As the bombardment grew more fierce the Kaiser and his staff officers departed hastily in borrowed cars.
