THREE STARS THEATRE.
I The change of programme to-night at { this theatre will be a very varied one, J consisting of political plays, dramas,! melodramas, comedies, comics, and ( scenic. The star picture is an enthralling society play, entitled '‘Shadows of the Past, ’ ’ 3,000 feet in length. Jfe is delightful, clever, and thrilling. Across the Chasm" is a picture that will^ appeal to all. "Hunting Absurdity” is an uproarious and marvellously funny cartoon. "Hard Cider” is by the popular Keystone Company. There is also a Pathe War Gazette. KING’S THEATRE. At the change of programme last night there was a good house, the whole being of a high standard. The film showing bomb-dropping from aeroplanes is an exciting picture. The picture showing the departure of the Third New Zealand Expeditionary Force from Wellington was good. A beautiful scenic, "Down the Ei/er Fuji, Japan, ’ ’ is well worth seeing. The Keystone comedy, "The Masqueraders,” featuring Chas. Chaplin, was r as usual, very funny. The programm® will be repeated to-night.
