A PERSEVERING BOXER.

Robert Linnoy, a boxer, was discharged from Kitchener's Army. on. account of rheumatic fever, contracted through sleeping in wet bedclothes, and after giving up smoking and drinking in orcter to get fit again, he enlisted once more. But as he declared that he had not been in the Army previously, he was charged with making, a false attestation, and at Blackpool lie was bound over. The Mayor expressed sympathy with the youth, observing that he evidently wanted to serve his country.
