The Government cabled to Lieuten-ant-General Maxwell, Officer Commanding the troops in Egypt, asking if ' there is any tfruth in' the rumour that there is insufficient hospital accommodation for New Zealand wounded, and has received a reply stating that there is ample accommodation, and to ' spare. The Governor also cabled to the Secretary of State for the Colonies, for information regarding those soldiers ieported missing. i Mr Bonar Lav/ replied, stating that the Turkish Government had agreed to establish an information bureau, but its proceedings apnear to be slow.
