o Billiard enthusiasts of the town and district will no doubt be pleased to learn that Mr Clark McConachy, the youtjhful billiard champion who is at present giving exhibitions in the noble art, will visit Taihape on the 15th July, and will play the local champion, Mr J. De Luen, at Steve Beban's Excelsior Rooms, at 7.30 p.m. The youthful champion is conceding Mr De Luen 350 out of 750. At the conclusion he will give ,a series of fancy, shots, e>tc.; There is no question about the ability , of this cueist, inasmuch as he played , Mr Snip Allen in the Dominion Billiard Saloon, New Plymouth, on May 81hl last, conceding him 350 in 750, making*"> one break alone of 533, .531 of were off the red, break foi^% .
