N.2 MADE SEAPUANE. AUCKLAND, June 6:. The Walsh Brothers’ locally-built; seaplane made several, very successful; flights yesterday, travelling altogether,about 60 miles. The longest flight wa&: about 21 miles. On three occasions. MrWalsh carried passengers, one who accompanied him on: one of the longest; flights being a New Zealand “Herald” reporter. Thompson Fleming, aged 18, of Whang'arei,. shot a cat-, an®; proceeded to pick up the animal, leaving's double-barrelled gun on a bankof earth. The gun retained Deceased bent down to pick 'gaai; when itwas ed. The. shot struck Fleming in neck, killing him - instantly. It.
