TOWN HALL PICTURES. j ,;| The star film, "Kitchener's Neto Army," shown at this theatre last night, drew a good house, and the applause which was accorded it was well-deserved. The programme was a good one all round and several ttmistLally good pictures were shown. As the Borough Council cannot supply power for this theatre to-night, Mr 'Bailey publicly announces that he will not be able to show this evening, but will submit a good programme to-mor-row night (Sunday)., when an tion of Sir Walter Scott's famuos no*el, "Guy Manntring," will be shown-. KING'S THEATRE. . _______ '.vVj-V.., TO-NIGHT. An all star programme will be submitted to-night, headed by Max Pentberton's masterpiece "Kronstadt," a. film of over 3000 feet. It is the remarkable story of an English Girl Spy. The picture shows the mean* by which sb e obtained drawings of forts, etc.,.- and the Whole picture is full of excitement. Other pictures are "Wireless from the War," "Storjn at Sea," and 'Mabel Normand at her best in "Mable's Latest Prank." - 'A special War Budget also will be screened. Further subjects will be added to make it a fine programme of 11,000 feet, . i THREE STARS THEATRE* .vjj The Borough Council has notified themanagement of this theatre that casnot sppply the necessary power thisevening, so skating will be held tn.stead. To-morrow night (Sunday) a fine educational film, "London by Day and Night" will be screened.
