NICHOLLS' PICTURES. KING'S THEATEE. The change of programme at this popular house last night brought together a very large audience, and justly so, as the programme was a splendid one. The first star, "The Devil ?s Dansant," is a beautiful picture. The plot shows a society lady visiting a gamblin saloon unbeknown to her husband, and when the den is raided by the police he finds his wife there. When she is taken by the police, the husband shields her by saying that she was there to gain evidence against the proprietor. "The Guiding Hand" is also a good picture, showing the influence of a blind girl, and a great moral is to be gained. The Topical Budget was 'iout on its own," being a splendlfl one, showing H.M.S. Monmouth, Good Hope, and Hogue, which were sunk by the Germans. And last but not least was the Keystone comedy, with Charlie Chaplin in the>lead, which kept tne large audience in a continual roar the whole time. The acting, staging, and scenery in the star pictures was rclly good. The programme will be repeated THREE STARS THEATRE, again to-night. There will *be a new programme shown at the Three Stars Theatre tonight, headed by a great • Keystone comedy of 2000 ft, featuring Charlie Chaplin and Mabel Normand. These two alone are sure .to draw a good house. There will be other good pictures shown in connection with the programme.! -
