INTERCESSIONARY SERVICE.
At the installation of the Taihape Borough Councillors at the Town Hall yesteday, a letter was read by his Worship the Mayor, received from the Rev. W. F. Stent, vicar of St. Margaret's Church.
The letter intimated that an Intercessionary Service will be held at theChurch this evening, being the fifth anniversary of the accession of his Majesty King George V., and ext.jndii.-g an invitation to the Mayoi and Borough Councillors to be present. Some discussion took place as to whether the councillors should go as individual councillors or as :i body. His Worship the Mayor intimated that he wished the councilors to decide. Cr. McLennan regretted that h» would be unable to be present, and Cr. Bennett also expressed doubt as to his ability to attend. Cr.
