AEROPLANES BOMB STATIONS. (Reed. 8.3' a.m.) PETROGRAD, April 23; A Russian airshhip bombed a transport column at Plock, also German boats on the Vistula. Two Russian dirigibles bombed the railway station at ijVLlawa, and the aerodrome at Sanniki, south-eastward of Plock, badly damaging it. A GERMAN CAPTURE. TRAWLER TAKEN TO GERMANY. (Reed. 8.3' a.m.) AMSTERDAM, April 23. A message from Berlin states that a submarine captured the British steam trawler Glencarg, off Aberdeen and brought it to. a German port. GREEK SAILER SUNK. BY DRIFTING MINE. ATHENS, April 22< k Greek sailer was sunk by a drifting torpedo in the Aegean Sea. It apparently came from the Dardanelles. The. captain and two women were killed. '•.... SIR JOHN FRENCH'S REPORT GREAT AERIAL ACHIEVEMENT. LONDON, April 23. Sir John French reports that German attacks on Hill 60 failed. During these attacks the enemy fired 17 inch shells into Ypres. We forestalled German mining operations near Armentieres by exploding our mine, and adds that the British airmen attacking Ghent shed who ran the gauntlet of fire from a captive balloon, also from ground howitzers and descended to within 200 feet and effected their object, causing a large explosion.
