PLUNKET NURSE SOCIETY.

MEETING AT HUNTERVILLE ’ On Tuesday last (15th inst.) Mrs. Studholme, president of Taihape So ciety, with Mrs James and Nurs& Jones, went to Kunterville to form p sub-branch of the Society.

The meeting was held at the Ladles* Club and about thirty ladies werß present,to whom the delegates explains ■sd the aim's and methods of the So* ciety. A sub-branch was formed and life following officers were elected: Mrs lE, Duncan, president, Mrs Simpson, sec* notary; Mrs Chisholm and Mrs Baft, vice-presidents; and a committee whS elected with power to add to their number. • . ‘ Arrangements as to the day s for the nurse’s visits were left to be decided by the committee, Ta.ihr.pe to be notified. A hearty vote of thanks to the visitors terminated the proceedings.
