NICHOLES’ PICTURES. A most delightful change of programme was made at the Station St. Theatre last night, which will he repeated to-night and to-morrow night. She star filmis a powerful, swiftly moving play, faithful, accurate and vivid. It is entitled "The Fringe on th« Glove.” It is irresistible in action, ia vigour, and in spirit; strong in sympathetic appeal, Itis woven around two strong men falling in love with the same girl, followed by one committing a cowardly crime, which is cleverly sheeted home to him by the other. •"The Passing of Diana” features a re*.’ 7 woman’s romance, an artist and a model and the tragic note of love. The comedy side of the programme is mor« than averagely good. At the Three Stars Theatre the new programme includes that beautiful, penetrating love drama, "The Debt.” This drama gives a girl’s stage experiences, embodying a rich man’s attentions, a mdthcr’s mistaken belief, th® evil influence of wine, the honesty oJ women, and establishes the question, "Is love selfish?” This is a powerful play of absorbing interest and claims attention on its pure merits, A very; fine Keystone farce, called "The Bag* gage Smasher,” is also on this pro* gramme; it is a really good laughraiser. The War Budget • and a fevs; other pictures make up a very interesting evening’s amusement.
