TOWN HALL PICTURES. OPENING THIS EVENING. "JUDITH OF BETHULIA." This is one of the best, if not the best film the world has ever seen. The Bcenes showing the attacks by Assyrians on the inhabitants of the city are unparalleled in the realm of moving pictures. 'So -spectacular is the production at times that one almost requires to witness it more than onee to fully grasp its splendour. There are occasions when it is almost startling in its realism. The subject was one large enough to dismay the hearts of even the most advanced moving pieturo producers, but it has been interpreted by the A.B. Company in a manner whieh does it more than justice. Hundreds upon Tiundreds of supernumerary ies were engaged for the 'staging' of the film, and the acting of the leading characters, more especially Judith, can be safely described as superb. The settings are gorgeous, portions of the old walls of Jerusalem being utilised .to give added effect to' the production. The picture cannot help but caussomething of a sensation among tlie hundreds of picture-goers in this town.
