The course is in good order and there is a large attendance. Results: — First Hack Hurdles Steeplechase.— Agatha 1. Green Nita 2, Merry Guy .'! Ser.: Grey Renown. The winner led a!! the way. Grit .Lawless and Captain Flintgid did not finish. Merry Guy pulled up lame at the finish. Won by n lengtht Time, 5.3 S 3-5. Plunket Nursery Handicap,—Hyginas 1, Three 2, Taringamutii 3. Ser.: Gowanbrae. The winner drew av.'py from the bunched lold and won by :i length Time, 1.1 1-5. AVONDALE RACES. AUCKLAND. This Day.
