He \ras interviewed with regard to a motion passed at the Timber Workers' Conferenqe.condemning th e Government for failing to protect people from exploitation. Mr Massey added that he had not yet made up his mind whether to attend the Premiere' Conference as suggested by Mr Fisher. MOTOR CYCLE FATALITY. COLLISION WITH A TRAP.. > xNAPIER, This Day. A motor cyclist named Augustus W. Hodgkinson, a former resident of 'fnsterton and recently of Havelock v'orth, was killed as the result of a "•c iiision with a trap last night while •iding en the wrong side of the road. He swerved over to the left jus-t as he reached the trap and a terrific impact resulted. Hodgkinson died on the way to the hospital.
