TAIHAPE STOCK SALE. Messrs Dalgety and Company, Ltd., Palmerston North, report on their Taihape sale of the 31st March as below: We had an exceptionally good yarding ci sheep and a fair entry cl ! cattle and the same were oft'erfed to a very la;lie attendance of buyers. Com-pstitic-n was exceedingly keen throughout and price s realised proved highly satisfactory to vendors. Aged ewes to 8/1, small lambs to 11/4, woolly lambs to 13/4,cu1l 2 tooth wethers 14/ to 14/2, medium 2 tooth withers to 17/u, good mixed lambs 13/11, 14/, 14/2, 14/3, mixed 2 tooths to 10/7, 4 and 5 year e\ve s 14/, 14/7, 15/6, 16/ o{ K5/9, 2 tooth wethers 19/3, 19/9, 20/ to 20/4, Romney rams I'igns, 2£gns and 3| to SJgns. Cattle: Weaner steters to 31/6, 15 months baiters to £2 18/6, 15 months steei-g to £3 7/, 20 months steers to £4 10/, store cows'to £3 2/6, bulls to £5, Ught fat cows £5 15/ to £6 2/6.

ABRAHAM AND WILLIAMS, LTD. Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report on Taihape sale: We had a Igood entry of sheep and a fair one of cattle. Buyers 'fTomj fmtsidle districts were present and all shelep sold at greatly advanced prices. Cattle sold at late rates. LONDON markets; Da>gety and Company, Limited, have received the following cablegram from their London office under date 80th inst: Wool Sales: Fourth serie s list closed March 25th. Gross arrivals, 412,500 bales forwarded; 210,500 bales leaving 202,000 available. Crossbreds dsarer still. Merino s irregular, especially faulty and burry sorts.
