SUICIDE AT KOEKE.

The Taihape police this morning re ceived word that George Frederick Newton, a farmer, of Koeke, had been found dead with a bullet wound in hishead. The discovery was made by :> son of deceased's 7/ut no reason can be advanced for the. act. Mr. Newton was a married man, about 45 years of age, and had resided at Koeke for some years. The Coroner and Constable McLeod have left for Koeke, where an inquest will be held this afternoon.
