DEER SHOOTING SEASON.
OPENS ON FIRST APRIL. Tbs Riad Deer shooting season in this Wellington Alc-el!ianaUsatto|i District opens on April Ist and closes on May 31st, 1915. The portions of the district in which Red Deer may be ■taken., have been divided fnto two areas. The first consists of the Haurangi Forest Reserve, in which area C!i payment of a foe of two pounds (£2) a license may be obtained,, entitling 1h,3 holder to take four stags’ heads, and also sis hinds. The second' ansa ccntaiiis the country known as Hutt and Fcatherstoii (Wainui), 11 crow hernia and Hutt counties (Paraparaunu) the Tararua Fores! Reserve, and also our country at Tauherenikau, and Taihape for this larjge area the license fee is also two pound's (£2>, but only two stags’ beads may be taken, and no hinds may be^ taken. Licenses and stags may be purchased from postmasters at Taihape, Mangaweka, Pa.ht.aiua, Pongaroa, Eketahuna, Palmerston North, and elsewhere. Dofai’s of the boarndaires tf the area open to stalkers and of portions exempted, are set cut on Licenses, or copies cf Regulations may be obtained fr'ein the secretary of the Society, 205 Lambtcn Quay, Wellington
