The Admiralty reports that air oper. ations by the naval wing against the Bruges, Ostend and Zeebrugge district were Continued. J t This afternoon forty aeroplanes and seaplanes bombarded Ostend, Middlekirke, Ghistelles and ’Zeebrugge Bombs were dropped on heavy batteries situated on the east and west sides of the Ostend harbour; the guns’ positions at Middlekirke; transport waggons on the Ostend-Ghistelles road; the mole at Zeebrugge (to widen the breach damaged hy the former attacks); the locks at Zeebrugge; barges outside Blankenberghe, and trawlers outside Zeebrugge. Eight French aeroplanes assisted in the operations, making a vigorous attack on Ghistelles aerodrome, thus *.ffentirely preventing the German aircraft cutting off ic.ur machines. Good results were obtained.
