Results are as follows: Maiden Handicap (six furlongs).— Martyress 1, Thoughtful 2, Blackleg 3. Scr: Rongamo, Tryhard and Silverdale. Won easily by a couple of lengths. Time, 1.15 2-5. Hack Hurdles (1:{ miles).—Glen Nevis 1, Ascalon 2, The Diver 3. All started. A good race. Won on the post by half a head. Time. 33 2-5. Wharite Hack. —Janitor .1, Morrio Pain. 2, Blackall 3. Scr.: Saitovna and Sarybonite. A good race, won by half a length. Time, 1.20 3-5. DUNEDIN RACES. DUNEDIN, This Day. The weather is fine, but dull, for the opening day of the D.J.C. Autumn Meeting. The attendance is good. Results: — Hurdles.—Andrea 1, Stonogingcr 2, Castiron 3. Scr.: Cyra. Won by a length and a-half. Gladbrook Handicap—Wild Pilgrim 1, All Ready 2, Roumania 3. Scr.; Marvellite, Dorothy Perkins. Won by two lengths. Champagne Stakes.—Adjutant J, Snub 2, Recorder 3. All started. Won by a long nock.
