' ' The PresS Bureau states that officers taken prisoners at ToUssoum state that a division was subdivided at Katabelkhiel, four hours Home f,he Canal in order to attack at different points. Six hundred attacked Toussoum, but when they reached the Canal they encountered a hot, well-aimed lire, which caused many casualties. They then surrendered. The commandant, Aris Bey, was wounded and carried off the field. The second in command was also wounded and taken prisoner.
