Farmers' Plate—Silver Flood 1, Styrax 2, Warea 3. All started Won comfortably by two lengths. 'Time, 2.2 2-5.
GISBORNE RACES. GISBORNE, Feb 4. The Gisborne Racing Club's meeting opened in fine weather, and with a good attendance Hurdles.—Chatmos 1, Soultre 2, Bravest 3. Scr: Mutiano. Time, 2.51 2-5. Flying Handicap.—Evadne 1, Lord Possible 2, Ruapani .3. The winner was stalled off by a hot challenge, but won- by three.lengths. Time, 1.15
